Daisy Banks is one of the few original cottages left on Bruny Island, the cottage dates back to the early nineteen hundreds; the land and property are even featured in the book detailing the history of Quarantine bay.  Daisy Banks has been lovingly restored by its current owners; with polished wooden floorboards and all the modern amenities that you could wish for in a holiday property.
 
Set on 5 acres of fertile land, nestled between trees the cottage has uninterrupted views to the ocean at Half Moon bay.  With direct access to the water frontage via its very own private beach the property is second to none when it comes to boating or other sea related activity.  Half moon bay is an all year round sheltered bay so no matter if there is a strong wind the sea in the bay is always calm – which is great for children.  The property also boasts its very own deep sea mooring to support up to a 65 foot yacht so there is no problem in mooring up for a few nights and escape to the comfort of the cottage.  
 
With oysters, mussels and as many flat head as you can catch on its shores Daisy Banks the perfect family and or romantic retreat.  Sit out and star gaze in the hammock setup in the large tree on the cottage grounds whilst the local wildlife run by.  As it’s nestled between a nature reserve and open farm land it proves to be a fantastic nature lover’s holiday home.There is a nesting Sea Eagle in the reserve at Quarantine bay, quolls, wallabies, rabbits countless birds – it really is natures paradise.
