Adventure Bay is the ideal base: the cruise departs here, Fluted Cape starts at the end of the beach and The Neck is a short drive away. See where to stay.

Swaps and variations

  • No cruise? Walk the Cape Queen Elizabeth track on day two morning instead.
  • Wildflower season (spring): add the Labillardiere Peninsula circuit in South Bruny National Park.
  • Foodie focus: slow down on day one and spend more time at producers; book a long lunch.
  • Bad weather: keep the cruise flexible — operators may reschedule in rough seas.
